BLACK HIPSTERS

Black Hipsters is a 30-minute comedy whose style, a mix of live action and animation, is as eclectic as its main characters. Philip and Dante are two African-American millennials on a determined quest to become famous artists... or at least the non-starving variety.  When they are not pining for hot girls on Instagram, avoiding their redneck bath salts dealing neighbor, or getting into stereotypical confrontations with the police, Philip and Dante spend most of their 9 to 5 trying to avoid the 9 to 5. They’ll do just about anything to avoid punching a time card. If life imitates art, whoever drew this life might need to go back to school.

CRASH & BURN

“Crash & Burn” follows the day-to-day lives of a dysfunctional family of Hollywood stuntmen. Led by industry legend Boss McCoy, the C&B Stunt Team is compromised entirely of his children, all conceived on different movie sets during Boss’ illustrious career. Now that he is close to retiring, he wants to pass the torch to his kids. Despite sharing the same father, they couldn’t be any more different from each other. Between the tough as nails "stunt woman" Kelly, the prima donna "stunt actor" Lance, the shit talking, pill popping “stunt driver” JT, and the happy go lucky “stunt crash test dummy” Primo, it’s never dull, or harmonious, at the C&B Stunt Gym. If being set on fire, run over by cars, or being tossed off buildings doesn’t kill them, a family dinner will.

FLORIDA WOMAN SAVES THE DAY

Wyna Bright and her brother, Billy never meant to do any good. Lazy and drunk by noon most days, they keep a rusted roof over their heads by robbing mini-marts whenever the cash runs out. It’s a living. But when a QuikTrip robbery goes bad (like run-over-a-drunk-redneck’s-head-with-a-stolen-car bad) the siblings are forced to lay low at a trailer park in the sticks. To further complicate matters, Wyna's got what some might call a “violent temper” and Billy can't hold her back when their new neighbor starts beatin’ on his kid. The result: a trailer park on fire, an 11 year-old stowaway, and a life on the run from the Florida State Patrol, a mercenary local news reporter, and sex-trafficking skinheads looking to teach Wyna and Billy a lesson.

LOCALS ONLY

After getting priced out of yet another “up and coming” neighborhood, Brian, Joel, and Zach move to a more run down authentic part of the city. Desperate to be anything but typical white people, they embrace their new, diverse neighbors and plant their flag in the local dive bar. Almost like clockwork though, the neighborhood begins to gentrify seemingly overnight. The guys come to a sobering realization – it’s totally because of their white asses.  Now, with the specter of artisanal cupcake shops and belt buckle boutiques looming in their future, they’ve got to make a choice – be part of the problem, or be part of the neighborhood…

PARTY GIRLS

A precocious young girl struggles to fit into her new school, which happens to be run by the Black Panther Party. But no matter the political climate (in 1973 or 2017), when you’re 10 years old, your priorities are the same - a kid just wants to be a kid. Inspired by the first hand account of Ericka Brown, who attended the Oakland Community School in the late 70s while her mother, Elaine Brown, worked her way up the chain to become the only woman in US history to lead a paramilitary organization as the Chairwoman of the Black Panther Party.

STICKY NOTES

After being promoted, Lindsay’s first decision as VP proves disastrous as she hires the charming, albeit unstable, Rachel to be her replacement. So when his father passes away unexpectedly, Frank is touched to discover he's been left $50 million in the will... with one strange caveat: finish your childhood bucket list…  a 10 year-old’s dreams, which include visiting all fifty states, becoming an Eagle Scout, meeting Darth Vader, and completing Evel Knievel’s failed Snake River jump. Forcing his hand, Frank is told by his board members that they’ve been instructed, as his father’s last wish, to fire Frank. Left with few options, Frank trades in his luxury condo for an oversized RV, driving across the country with his wife and his two kids he barely knows. THE BLAZE & ALEX SHOW

lines_white.png

Blaze and Alex host a "daytime talk show" web series in a basement they sublet from a woman going through a costly divorce. Alex, who hopes to be a moral icon one day, and Blaze, who simply figures he's destined to be on first-name basis with celebrities, try to coax accessible pseudo-stars into their basement to make guest appearances on their show in hopes that it will bring them more YouTube views. Fueled by a pathological need to make their single moms proud, Blaze and Alex push their bastardized Ellen brand on a world that is wholly uninterested. Their morale is sustained by an unshakeable sense of entitlement and their own shallow, undying friendship.

"CockPit” follows their misadventures as they struggle to escape to “the majors” and finally gain the respect and loose women they know they deserve.

LOBOTOMY

lines_white.png

Publicly humiliated, cheated on and bullied his entire life, Phil Robbins has finally reached the end of his rope. After a stoned suggestion from his best friend and a run-in with an unlicensed doctor/fry cook/drug dealer, Phil agrees to an outdated yet permanent solution to numb the pain: A LOBOTOMY. The procedure goes amazingly wrong. Rather than waking up numb to the cruel world, Phil feels energized... invincible even. Whatever happened on that unsanitary operating table has freed Phil of his inhibitions, embarrassment, fear and regret. Lobotomy chronicles the hilarious, glorious, and at times disastrous rise of the new Phil Robbins, from embarrassing failure to... well, whatever he fucking feels like.
